  • How will our relationship work?

    At Cleanology®, we believe in building ongoing relationships with our clientele based on open communication and trust. 


    We take great pride in arranging a wide range of quality house cleaning services at competitive rates. All services are provided according to the client’s choice – what works for the client works for the cleaners.


    Whether you need a one-time service, or would like to schedule cleanings on an ongoing recurring basis, we don't require long-term contracts knowing that we must earn your continued patronage with each housekeeping referral.


    We take our client’s feedback seriously. If anything may have been overlooked during the cleaning service, please let us know within 24 hours of the appointment so we can contact the housekeepers who provided the services and arrange for them to come back to make it right.

  • Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?

    When it comes to finding the most value from your housekeeping service, having a plan is key. 


    It's important to take time before each visit to provide a priority list that will help ensure the time spent by the housekeeper is as efficient as possible. 


    Additionally, we recommend picking up any clothing, toys, or other household items that don't need to be cleaned before they arrive. This proactive approach will help save you time and money while still ensuring the same high quality of service that Cleanology always strives to provide our clients. 


    So don't forget - take a few minutes to get your home ready prior to your housekeeper's arrival!


  • What if something is broken or if I believe something is missing from my home?

    At Cleanology, we understand the importance of safety and security. 


    Although the referred domestic workers do their best to treat each home with the utmost care, in the event of any damage or breakage while they clean your home, all responsibility falls on the individual housekeeper.


    If after a cleaning you believe that an item is missing, we think it is important to first discuss the situation with your family. If then you are still convinced that an item is truly gone and there may have been a theft, we strongly encourage our clients to contact their local police department to report this matter. Cleanology takes theft very seriously and in recognition of that, the Cleanology Client Referral Plan will cover up to $2,500 per incident if a conviction follows.


    As with any visitors or workers in your home, your homeowner or renter’s insurance policy may provide you with coverage for theft or damage.


  • Do I have to be home when the team comes?

    Cleanology prioritizes your convenience and comfort throughout the entire cleaning process. We understand that some clients prefer to be present during the initial cleaning service to provide specific instructions or to access certain areas of their home. It can be a great opportunity to make sure the housekeepers understand your priorities, and to also review any ‘hot spots’ that may require specific attention.

     

    Furthermore, once the housekeepers are finishing their work, and before they leave, it is recommended to do a quick inspection of the areas cleaned to identify any areas or items that may have been overlooked or require more attention so that they can be addressed while the housekeepers are still present.


    Many of our clients lead busy lives and prefer to provide instructions in advance, or via electronic communication. If you are unable to be home when the cleaners arrive, just contact our office to help coordinate release of keys, or to provide secure instructions so there is no disruption to your service. 


    While we want the housekeeping process to be as seamless as possible, if the housekeeper(s) are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, you may incur a $150 lock-out fee.
